I’m Ben, the one-person studio behind Clever Rabbit. I design and build websites, online shops and brands for businesses in West Bromwich, from my desk in B68, just down the M5.
(Where I am)
West Bromwich town centre is 3.8 miles from my desk, north past Oldbury and Smethwick. New Square, the High Street and the streets around The Hawthorns are an easy drive, and the M5 at junction 1 takes you straight into town.
That means you get a web designer who knows the area and can turn up when it matters, rather than an agency in another city working from a template with your town’s name dropped in.
West Bromwich is the biggest town in Sandwell, with everything from shops around New Square to manufacturers, wholesalers, trades and professional services. Whatever you do, the website has the same job: explain it clearly, prove you are good at it and make getting in touch easy.
(Why local)
There are established agencies in and around West Bromwich. With me you deal with one person, the one who actually designs and builds your site, from the first call to launch and long after it.
If you sell products, a shop should do more than list them. I designed and built Prompt Angel’s brand and WooCommerce store from scratch, with checkout and digital delivery working on their own.
For service businesses, the website is where buyers check you out. HiHendrix’s portfolio was built around his strongest work so new clients can see what they are getting in seconds.
(What I build)
Up to five pages, designed for your business, fast on phones and ready for Google.
Larger sites with custom design, animation and features built around how you work.
WooCommerce stores with products, payments, delivery and stock set up properly.
A logo, colours and type that make you look like the business you are.
The repetitive admin handed to software, scoped after a free call.
Fast hosting, backups, updates and someone to call when something breaks.
Fixed quotes after a free chat. Not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
(How it works)
A call, a coffee or a WhatsApp. You tell me what you need and I ask the questions that matter.
A clear price and timeline in writing before anything starts. No hourly surprises.
You see the design early, give feedback, and watch it come together. I keep you posted throughout.
I put it live, check it on every device and look after it afterwards, from £15 a month.

(Questions)
Clever Rabbit is in B68, 3.8 miles from West Bromwich town centre, a short drive down the M5. I work across West Bromwich, Sandwell and the wider West Midlands.
If it helps, yes. Most projects run over calls, WhatsApp and email, which keeps everything quick, but I am happy to come to you in West Bromwich to talk it through.
You get one person from start to finish, a fixed quote before anything starts, and no VAT on top because I am not VAT registered. You can also see exactly what I build: every case study on this site is real work for real clients.
Starter websites begin at £1,995, bespoke websites at £3,495 and online shops at £4,995. You get a fixed price in writing after a short chat, so there are no surprises.
Usually, yes. I will look at what you have, keep what is working, especially anything Google already ranks, and either improve it or rebuild it properly. You get an honest recommendation either way.
Yes. Online shops start at £4,995 and include the design, products, payments, delivery options and testing. Prompt Angel is a good example of a shop I built from scratch.
Three things matter most: a fast website that clearly says what you do and where, a complete Google Business Profile, and genuine reviews from happy customers. I build the first and help you with the other two.
I host and look after your site from £15 a month, with backups and updates included. If anything needs changing, you message me directly.
(Let’s talk)
Tell me what you need. You’ll hear back from me, Ben, not a sales team. Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
