I’m Ben, the one-person studio behind Clever Rabbit. I design and build websites, online shops and brands for businesses in Oldbury and right across Sandwell, from my desk in B68.
(Where I am)
My postcode is B68 Oldbury, up on the Bearwood and Warley Woods side, about three miles from Oldbury town centre and the Sandwell Council House. Langley, Blackheath and Rowley Regis are all within three miles, and the M5 at junction 2 is a short drive.
That makes me the local option for Oldbury businesses that want someone they can actually reach: one person who answers the phone, replies on WhatsApp and, if you would rather talk it through in person, can come to you.
Whether you are a manufacturer on one of the industrial estates, a trade working across the Black Country or a service business in the town centre, the job is the same: a website that explains what you do in plain words, proves you do it well and makes the next step obvious.
(Why local)
A lot of Oldbury runs on manufacturing, logistics and the trades. Those websites need to answer the questions buyers ask, show proof of the work and make it easy to get a quote. That is exactly what I built for M Howells, a contractor that tenders for councils and Tier 1 firms.
People search “near me” and by town. Every site I build is fast on phones and set up properly for Google from day one: clear page titles and descriptions, the right business details, and pages that say where you work.
You deal with me from the first call to launch and after. No account managers, no passing your project around, and no surprises on the invoice. I am not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
(What I build)
Up to five pages, designed for your business, fast on phones and ready for Google.
Larger sites with custom design, animation and features built around how you work.
WooCommerce stores with products, payments, delivery and stock set up properly.
A logo, colours and type that make you look like the business you are.
The repetitive admin handed to software, scoped after a free call.
Fast hosting, backups, updates and someone to call when something breaks.
Fixed quotes after a free chat. Not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
(How it works)
A call, a coffee or a WhatsApp. You tell me what you need and I ask the questions that matter.
A clear price and timeline in writing before anything starts. No hourly surprises.
You see the design early, give feedback, and watch it come together. I keep you posted throughout.
I put it live, check it on every device and look after it afterwards, from £15 a month.

Yes. Clever Rabbit is in B68, Oldbury, on the Bearwood and Warley Woods side, about three miles from the town centre. I work across Oldbury, Sandwell, Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
Sometimes. Most projects run perfectly well over calls, WhatsApp and email, which keeps things quick. If you would rather meet face to face in Oldbury, just say and I will come to you.
Starter websites begin at £1,995, bespoke websites at £3,495 and online shops at £4,995. After a short chat you get a fixed quote, so you know the full cost before anything starts. I am not VAT registered, so there is nothing added on top.
It depends on the size of the job. Recent builds have run from two weeks for M Howells to four weeks, contact to launch, for Prompt Angel. You get a timeline with your quote.
Every site is built fast and search-ready: page titles and descriptions, your business details for Google, image descriptions and pages that mention where you work. Ranking also depends on reviews and your Google Business Profile, and I will show you how to make the most of those.
Me. Hosting starts at £15 a month with backups and updates included, and you can always WhatsApp me if something needs changing.
Yes. I will look at what is working and what is not, keep anything Google already likes, and rebuild the rest so it is faster, clearer and easier to update. Trinity is a good example of a full redesign.
Not at all. Oldbury is home, but I work across Sandwell, Birmingham, the Black Country and the rest of the UK. Being local just means I am easy to reach when you need me.
(Let’s talk)
Tell me what you need. You’ll hear back from me, Ben, not a sales team. Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
