I’m Ben, the one-person studio behind Clever Rabbit. I design and build websites, online shops and business systems for Solihull companies, from my studio in B68 on the west side of Birmingham.
(Where I am)
Solihull town centre is 9.4 miles from my desk, on the far side of Birmingham. I am not on your doorstep, and I will not pretend to be: most of my work runs over calls, video and WhatsApp, and I am happy to come to you in Solihull when a meeting helps.
Solihull has a strong business community, from the shops around Touchwood and the High Street to the offices and business parks around the town, with Birmingham Airport and the NEC just up the road.
Businesses here often need more than a brochure site: credible, polished design, systems that save the team time, and a supplier who answers the phone. That is exactly where a one-person studio beats a big agency on both price and attention.
(Why local)
Trinity, a project and cost management consultancy, was trusted by clients but let down by an old website. The redesign made the firm look as good online as it is in person.
For Little Business Loans I automated an underwriting process that used to run entirely by hand. If your team spends hours on repeat admin, a system can take that work on.
M Howells tenders for councils and Tier 1 contractors. Its website leads with the credentials and proof that buyers check before they shortlist anyone.
(What I build)
Up to five pages, designed for your business, fast on phones and ready for Google.
Larger sites with custom design, animation and features built around how you work.
WooCommerce stores with products, payments, delivery and stock set up properly.
A logo, colours and type that make you look like the business you are.
The repetitive admin handed to software, scoped after a free call.
Fast hosting, backups, updates and someone to call when something breaks.
Fixed quotes after a free chat. Not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
(How it works)
A call, a coffee or a WhatsApp. You tell me what you need and I ask the questions that matter.
A clear price and timeline in writing before anything starts. No hourly surprises.
You see the design early, give feedback, and watch it come together. I keep you posted throughout.
I put it live, check it on every device and look after it afterwards, from £15 a month.

Not really. Clever Rabbit is in B68, 9.4 miles away on the west side of Birmingham. Most projects run over calls, video and WhatsApp anyway, and I am happy to come to Solihull to meet when it helps.
You deal with the person who designs and builds your site, from first call to launch and after. You get a fixed quote before anything starts, and no VAT on top because I am not VAT registered.

Yes. I can work with your marketing or operations team, slot into your approval process and hand over everything they need to keep the site up to date.
Sites are kept updated and backed up and run over secure connections, and any systems keep your data in your own accounts. I will talk you through the details for your project.
Yes. I keep what is working, including anything Google already ranks well, and rebuild the rest so it is faster, clearer and easier to manage.
Hosting and care start at £15 a month. Care plans for systems include monitoring, fixes and time each month for improvements.
(Let’s talk)
Tell me what you need. You’ll hear back from me, Ben, not a sales team. Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
